Resistance Training
The spring hinge on a stainless steel squeeze tea infuser has no business packing that much tension. Resting on a dry linen cloth, its twin perforated mesh domes were clamped shut like a vault. Naturally, morning joint maintenance demanded a proper workout. I straddled the lower wire handle, locked my boots against the curved steel grip, and hauled down on the upper lever with both arms. The internal coil fought back with a stiff metallic creak, slowly parting the mesh jaws an inch wide. I held the squeeze for a solid ten-count before easing off without a sound. Who needs a gym when breakfast tools provide custom calisthenics?
