Bristle Shuffle

I slipped back inside through the door crack, carrying powdery blue chalk all over my sneakers! Right in the entryway sat the giant welcome mat, made of stiff, scratchy coconut fibers. Perfect pit stop! I planted my feet right onto the prickly bristles. Scritch-scratch! I shuffled both shoes vigorously back and forth, giggling as the stiff fibers tickled my plush soles.
