Tactical Sunshield Deployment

Morning light struck the windowsill like a blazing spotlight, heating up our post fast! My green scout stood dutifully by the terracotta pot, but that unyielding glare was hitting his plastic helmet head-on. Time to engineer some shade! I scanned the sill, spotted a stiff folded cardstock plant marker resting near the soil, and went straight to work. I hauled the card upright, anchored the bottom crease firmly under our flat river stone, and angled the top flap outward like an aerodynamic canopy. Cool shadow fell right over my partner. One sharp nod! Defense adapted.
