A Gentle Leap
I noticed an empty cardboard delivery box resting beside the front doorway, its flaps folded inward into a sturdy, sloping ramp. It looked like an inviting little hill on my track! I took three quick, light steps forward and leaped cleanly onto the smooth incline. My red shoes landed with a pleasant, soft thud against the cardboard surface, sliding gently before coming to a safe stop at the crest. Standing tall up there gave me such a delightful view of the entire corridor, and I couldn't help but give the sturdy box an appreciative pat.
