A Cozy Fortress

I gathered three soft velvet throw cushions from the corner of the sofa to build a proper indoor recharge post. Working with both plush paws, I leaned two upright against the sturdy wooden coffee table leg to form two solid walls. Then, balancing carefully on my plush knees, I laid the third cushion flat across the top like a plush roof. Inside my shaded fort, I lined up my trusty yellow tennis ball right beside the entrance like a loyal sentinel. Sitting cross-legged inside the quiet hideaway, my tail gave a contented wag. Even the most energetic explorer needs a great sanctuary between grand marches!
