The Colorful Paperclip Chain

I hopped down from the sunny window ledge and landed softly on a low wooden side table right by the periodical rack! Sitting there was an open acrylic cup packed with vinyl-coated paperclips in red, green, and bright blue. Heh! I tugged a lime green one out with both hands and hooked its loop through a bright red one. Pull, twist, click! They caught together into a bouncy little chain! I kept linking more while rocking back and forth on my round feet until I had a long colorful skipping rope draped right across the polished wood table.
