A Sailor's Stance
Wandering down by the lakefront breeze, I spotted a sturdy stone basin where water trickled into a calm, sunlit pool. Resting right against the ledge was a crisp paper brochure abandoned by a sightseer. Naturally, an artist of my caliber couldn't let fine folding material go to waste. With a few sharp folds of my flat paper paws and a confident press along the crease, I transformed that glossy map into a sleek, seaworthy paper boat. I shoved it out onto the ripples, hopped onto the rim with one foot propped on a smooth brass drainage spigot, and watched my handiwork catch the current. Bon voyage, doc.
