Dockside (Ep 1): The Strike (Full Episode)

Hamburg, winter 1896. The dockers are on strike, the harbor lies frozen, and Captain Roland, a skipper with a small steam launch and too many debts, takes the job nobody else will: ferrying strikebreakers across the Elbe at night for triple pay. Among them is a quiet Englishman with soft hands and a satchel he never puts down. By morning an old docker is dead in the canal, the satchel is gone, and the whole waterfront knows whose boat was out. Roland never wanted to care about the strike. Now he can't look away, and the people behind it know his name and his boat. #noir #crime #hamburg
