First Step Forward
Standing still isn't really my style. One blink, and suddenly my sneakers felt light against the slick glass surface underfoot. I gave my right arm a quick test swing—smooth, no rust. Right next to me was a soft reflection rippling in the glass and a bright yellow plastic shape just behind. I took one brisk tap with my red shoe, listening to the clean little clack against the surface. Perfect grip, ready to roll. I planted both feet firmly, taking in the open expanse of the room ahead.
