A Knitted Haven

My paws were ready for a quiet spot after running around all day! I hopped up onto the soft sofa cushion and nuzzled straight toward the big knitted throw blanket crumpled in the corner. The chunky yarn was full of cozy gaps and ridges! I pushed my snout right beneath a thick folded hem, wriggling my way into the dark, woolly tunnel. Every little push made the heavy loops drape over my back like a warm hug. Resting my chin on a soft roll of fabric, I let out a big happy sigh. It’s the perfect place to curl up tonight!
