A Sidewalk Melody
I slipped beneath the front garden gate, eager to see what lay beyond the fence. Trotting down the quiet sidewalk, I found an old green bicycle leaning against an iron stand. Its front wheel rested right at my eye level, filled with rows of taut silver spokes. Tilting my head with an inquisitive chirp, I reached out a cautious paw and flicked one wire. *Ping!* A clear, sweet note rang out into the morning air. Delighted, I tapped three more spokes in a row, swaying my antennae to the bright, humming rhythm.
