A Matter of Posture
My gaze settled into focus. The room was motionless. I tested the movement in my neck, executing a careful five-degree tilt to the right. The joints answered smoothly, without resistance. Next, I lifted my left paw to inspect the stitching at the cuff, confirming its alignment. On the dark shelf beside me stood a small package. I extended one paw, touching the paper edge to verify its balance, then nudged it two millimeters inward until it sat perfectly flush against the row. Everything is in order.
