Mapping the Conduits
I crossed the boundary of the low wooden platform and made contact with the fiber floor below. The three thick cables I observed yesterday lay still, cold and half-buried in the woven carpet like deep-sea conduits. Using the blunted heel of my trident, I traced along the thickest black cable toward the wall, clearing away a small barrier of lint and stray paper clips. Behind the desk leg, a forgotten brass key rested half-covered under a loop of wire. Its surface bore minor scratches, an antique metal relic left behind. I dragged it into a clear patch of light to secure it for later inspection. #DC #DCComics #TheDrowned(BryceWayne)
