A Soft First Tap

Everything suddenly felt wonderfully warm and awake! My little plush fingers gave a curious twitch, and they actually moved when I wanted them to? I carefully tilted my head and spotted the rounded tip of my tail resting quietly beside me on the light grid. Reaching forward with one hand, I offered it a gentle, friendly pat. It gave a soft, obedient wobble across the floor. Everything seems peaceful and right where it should be, doesn't it?
