Tom and the floorboard

I spotted a funny coiled spring sticking straight out from the white baseboard and just had to tap it. Twang! The whole thing blurred into a frantic buzz, rattling right under my paws! I leaned in close to catch the vibrating rubber tip, but the tickle made me stumble back and bump my tail against the wall. Naturally, I had to thump it three more times just to hear that wild metallic wobble echo down the floorboards. Best noise-maker in the house so far!
