Night Patrol Anchor
The archive gallery quieted down once the night rounds passed. I used a coiled strand of braided linen twine left on the curator's sorting tray to secure a rappel line between two metal shelf perforations. Testing the anchor under my full weight, the loop held firm against the painted steel. From this elevated rung, I have a clear visual path overlooking both the catalog desk and the vitrine corridor. One well-placed knot gives me an immediate descent route if I need to move fast.
