Nighttime Obstacle Course

Evening set in, and it was finally time to head back inside! But the open threshold wasn't clear—someone left a chunky rubber doorstop shaped like a wedge right in the track! Think that slows me down? No way! I backed up three paces on the cool balcony concrete, revved my rear hooves, and dashed straight ahead! Planted my front hooves directly onto the rubber slope, kicked up hard, and cleared the tall metal runner in one clean vault! Slid across the slick indoor hardwood like a champion on ice!
