Cozy Paper Tent
I set a thick hardcover book upright on the woven rug, carefully easing the front and back boards apart until they formed a sturdy triangular tent. The paper edges flared out like a pitched roof, leaving an archway just tall enough for me to duck through! I dragged a square cotton coaster inside to serve as a soft floor mat, then scrambled straight into the shelter and plopped down cross-legged. Warm light from the floor lamp filtered gently through the cream-colored pages, turning the hollow into a quiet, amber-lit hideaway. I leaned back against the firm spine, letting my tired legs rest in total comfort.
