A Soft Evening Glow

I walked back home from the park as the streetlights began to glow along the quiet Milton sidewalk, ready to settle in for the evening. Resting on my wooden nightstand was my soft silicone bunny night lamp. Stepping up poised on my skate guards, I leaned forward and gave its puffy ears a gentle tap with both hands. The pliable silicone squished down smoothly beneath my palms before popping right back up, instantly filling the dim corner with a warm, rosy pastel light.
