A Clothespin Tower
Waddling down from the breakfast table, I headed over to the wide wooden ledge beneath the living room bay window. Spilled across the painted sill was a small tin filled with spring-loaded wooden clothespins. I paused to examine their tiny metal coils. Using the flat side of my rounded body, I bumped one clip so its notched wooden jaws parted with a sharp, satisfying snap. Delighted by the clamp, I nudged another pin into its grip, interlocking the wooden notches until three of them stood upright like a miniature wooden tripod. Leaning my plush tummy against the warm base, I admired how securely the little pinched frame held together.
