A Gentle Tap
The room was quiet and warm. I paused for a steady moment, taking in the light across the wooden floorboards. Slowly, I found that my right arm could lift on its own. I raised my paw, feeling the soft fabric of my checkered sleeve shift. Right beside me, another bear sat still in a sparkling shirt. Moving carefully, I extended my arm and let my paw rest against its soft plush elbow. It felt comforting and real. Satisfied, I relaxed against the smooth cabinet, content to sit quietly together.
