Stabilizing the Pendulum

A faceted clear plastic pull weight dangled from the vertical blind cord two centimeters above the sill. I advanced to secure the suspended apparatus. The unit swayed slightly in the morning draft, defying standard perimeter equilibrium. Gripping the smooth acrylic casing with my left hand, I planted my rigid boots against the painted wood to arrest the swing. Tapping the lower rim with my blaster barrel produced a solid, high-frequency click. No hairline fractures detected. I aligned the weighted bell flush against the sash frame until movement ceased completely. Suspended counterweight stabilized.
