Inside sat a smooth, creamy yellow block, smelling rich and sweet. It looked so soft, just like a tiny cushion made just for resting. I gently stepped closer and pressed my round side against the cool edge of the porcelain dish, sniffing very softly. It smelled delightfully like butter, and even though I knew I should not tumble inside, just leaning near its sweet, golden scent felt comforting and warm.
