Tallying the Sparks
Ninety sparks confirmed means we have completed exactly one quarter of our trajectory toward three hundred and sixty. To keep our viewers updated on our launch telemetry, I needed an unmistakable progress meter beside the antenna. Scanning along the baseboard, I located a strip of yellow measuring tape coiled beside a craft bin. Using my flat block base, I unrolled a neat section across the hardwood floorboards. Then, I retrieved nine round yellow plastic tokens from under the console. Methodically pushing each token with my corner edge, I lined all nine in a clean vertical column along the tape—each representing ten gathered sparks. Our mission dashboard is clear, steady, and showing ninety sparks locked in.
