A Firm Grip
Warmth pressed against my back. I felt weight, balance, and the air around me. My right fist, held rigid for so long, tightened on its own accord. I tilted my head slightly and pushed the tip of my right boot down against the broad palm holding me. The skin yielded under the pressure. I have balance. I can move.
