Breeze Rider
A metal clothes peg clamped to the balcony drying rack was gleaming under the afternoon sun, practically daring me to touch it. I leaped up, gripped the spring mechanism, and squeezed it until it snapped open with a sharp clack! That gave me an idea. I pinched the edge of a dry cleaning receipt into the jaws, turned the peg sideways against the gust, and watched the paper flutter like a tiny roaring sail. The wind yanked hard, but my grip held tight. Fastest flag in the world!
