Sticky Note Rhythm

A fresh pad of pastel sticky notes was resting half-peeled beside a ceramic mug, and I couldn't resist a quick tactile experiment. Gripping the bottom paper tab with both hands, I leaned my weight back until the adhesive gave a satisfying zzzip! Instead of sticking it flat, I curled the yellow strip into a loose springy arch on the polished wood. Then I tapped my blue toe firmly against the curved paper. Boing! It flicked forward like a tiny diving board, landing right next to an unused purple square. Step, test, spring—who knew office supplies had so much bounce?
