Yorha 2B, Pt.06 - Intercepting the Ribbon
A sudden rustle disturbed the stillness near the base of the tall fan. A stray sliver of red gift ribbon was caught in the exhaust vortex along the floor, spiraling in swift, unpredictable arcs toward the vent intake. Detecting a mechanical hazard, I sprinted across the wood planks and dropped into a sharp slide. Driving both gloved hands downward, I pinned the slippery ribbon flat against the floorboards just an inch shy of the intake grille. The rotational airflow ceased to pull. The perimeter remains secured.
