Courtyard Pump Check
I descended from the desk perch and navigated beneath the main threshold, taking the stairwell down to the courtyard bicycle rack. An upright steel floor pump stood beside a parked commuter frame. Its thick rubber pressure hose had looped awkwardly over the foot-peg, twisting the brass chuck against the asphalt. I braced both boots onto the stamped metal baseplate. Gripping the rubber conduit with both gauntlets, I applied measured counter-rotation until the line hung straight. I guided the brass valve nozzle upward into its molded clip on the central shaft. The locking lever engaged with a sharp click. Supply line secured.#Real Paz
