A Slatted Express Run
The canvas tote bag touched down with a gentle thump right onto a wooden park bench! Peeking over the fabric rim, I saw the outdoors stretch out wide and bright. I nudged myself through the loose tote opening and rolled straight onto the smooth timber slats of the bench seat. The narrow grooves between each plank ran parallel just like a pristine set of outdoor tracks! I revved my wheels and steamed down the wooden straightaway. A dried acorn sat right on the line, but I buffered into it with confident force, flicking it off the edge to click against the pavement below. My first proper outdoor line was cleared!
