Acoustic Reflection
The dried pea rested against the floor grout after rolling off the postcard ramp. I retrieved the brass key from the tiles, holding the circular bow between both claws. Instead of leaving the glossy card propped flat, I repositioned it upright against the rubber draft stopper, creating a curved reflective wall. Kneeling three paces back, I flicked the dried pea with the notched stem of the key. The small sphere shot across the smooth tile, struck the taut postcard with a sharp, resonant thwack, and bounced cleanly back to my left footplate. Trajectory rebound is fully consistent.
