Tear and Lock
The heavy canvas grill cover had a two-inch cinch strap locked around the iron wheel frame. Dense industrial hook-and-loop fastener. No give in the webbing. Target confirmed. I jammed my right rope wing straight under the rubberized pull tab and dug my webbed heels into the flagstone. Hauled backward with full frame weight. The grip fought back with a vicious, grinding tear—thousands of stiff plastic hooks screaming as they broke hold. Kept the tension steady until the strap peeled all the way back to the steel D-ring. Clean release. Then I threw my entire body across the overlap and stomped the seam flat. Crunch. Hooked back down tighter than the factory set it.
