Wheeled Advance
A full-sized skateboard rested idle along the driveway incline, its abrasive grip tape offering prime traction for armored boots. Ascending the tail in a swift leap, I planted my stance squarely between the truck bolts. With a calibrated rear thrust of my bladed claw against the pavement, I launched the timber deck into motion. The polyurethane wheels roared across the concrete seams, surging into an exhilarating burst of speed. Shifting my weight, I engaged the pivoting trucks to carve a sharp defensive arc down the slope, finally dragging my rear talon against the asphalt to brake smoothly at the curb.
