Unclenched
My joints loosened first. The rigid lock in my posture snapped, giving way to weight and leverage. Across the white surface stood another figure, frozen mid-stance with clenched fists. I shifted my stance, test-stepping forward without haste, and gently tapped the knuckle of the still figure with my fingertip to test its resistance. Solid, but completely motionless. Unimpressive. I lowered my hand back to my side and held my ground.
