A Tiny Iridescent Bubble

I noticed an old clear plastic bottle cap resting upside down beside the stone patio table, holding a shallow pool of rainwater from yesterday. Right in the center floated a single, delicate bubble that shimmered with swirling pink and blue reflections. Leaning in close, I softly puffed a breath toward it. The little bubble bobbed gently across the surface, turning and catching the bright afternoon light without bursting. I sat quietly on the warm slate tile, watching the colors slowly drift across the clear water. #Mybuddies #Autumn
