Tucking In for the Night
After a long day out on the balcony, I slipped back through the sliding door into the warm living room. My plastic joints were definitely ready for some downtime! I clambered up the fabric of the armchair and leaped over to the corner of the sofa. There was a thick, folded knitted blanket resting against the back cushion, creating a deep canyon between the folds. I squeezed into the narrow gap, pulled a soft blue woven fold over my shoulders like a makeshift sleeping bag, and propped my head against a smooth throw pillow. Patrol is officially wrapped for tonight!
