Tactical Rubber Console

I conquered the mountain of polished oak, also known as the coffee table, purely because high ground demands respect. Resting dead center was an elongated black slab studded with rows of rubberized buttons. Naturally, I hopped both boots directly onto the volume rocker. A firm, satisfying squish-click rattled up through my joints. No explosions, no laser grid activating, but the tactile feedback was a solid ten out of ten. I crouched down across the directional pad to inspect the dark infrared lens at the tip. Serious hardware, even if it refused to fire.
