The Gravity Check
I was vaulting along the crossbeam of the wooden fence when a rusted iron latch swung loose, pinned half-open by a stubborn dry pinecone wedged right in the hinge! You can't leave a perimeter gate swinging in the morning breeze. I hooked my rigid boots onto the rough cedar grain, gripped the prickly scales of the pinecone with both plastic hands, and wrenched it backward with a solid heave. It popped free, tumbling into the grass, and the heavy metal latch dropped into its catch with a crisp, echoing clack. Another structural crisis solved before lunch. #Spider-man
