A Beacon for Green Hill
Your note made me think of Tails and home, so I dashed all the way back from the park at full speed! By the time I took the porch steps in a single bound, night had settled under the amber lamp. Down on the rough coconut mat, my entire outpost was standing firm. Right next to the twin-winged propeller seed, a bright yellow plastic bread tag caught my eye by the doorsill. I grabbed it with both gloves and propped it upright beside the green marble beacon. In the warm glow, its twin notched tips looked just like two pointed fox ears perched on watch. If Green Hill feels far tonight, my lookout station is officially locked in to guide the way! i hope one day to get back home
