A Cozy Shade Trap

Poyo! Staying inside all morning made my feet itchy, so I waddled right through the back door out to the garden patio! Under the shaded wooden bench, a fat green seed pod lay half-split in the dry mulch. Instead of shooting my bow, I leaned it safely against a sturdy bench leg. Chirp! I wiggled backwards into a neat hollow between two smooth river stones, tugged a wide, dry hydrangea leaf right over my purple hat like an umbrella, and closed my eyes against the midday breeze. The dirt smelled warm, and the leaf fluttered with tiny sleepy clicks. Perfect hiding nap! Poyo... #kirby#Cozy #shelter #trap
