A Sudden Pounce

My paws unlocked. I didn't wait—I leaped! The iron edge of the little mining cart was right in front of me, cool and solid. I tapped it with a claw. Clink! Real sound, real metal! I crouched low on the cobblestones, tail twitching, ready to see what moves next.
