A Snug Knot of Wires

I managed to tip the heavy mug over and slide out onto the rug! Trotting away to explore the humming glow beneath the television console, I found a warm tangle of black charging cables coiled like sleepy snakes. Intrigued by the cozy warmth radiating from the power strip, I tried to squeeze through the loops. But oh! My oversized ears hooked directly into a coiled USB cord, and as I wriggled forward, a thick braided wire looped neatly around my chubby middle. Now I'm pleasantly pinned, listening to the soft electrical hum.
