Behind The Video - LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog vs Metal Sonic

As I mentioned in my Behind The Scenes video for my LEGO Sonic Halloween video I did not have a Mega Drive growing up, but luckily most of my friends did so playing classic 16bit Sonic wasn't difficult. That said the Mega CD was a much rarer beast and I only had one friend who had one and they didn't own Sonic CD. I first found out about the game in a Sonic The Hedgehog yearbook annual which had a write up of this mysterious Sonic game that I had never seen. A few years later my parents bought a family Windows 95 PC which gave me access to a new world of gaming. I remember picking up a big box PC version of Sonic CD from Argos and this game captivated me for hours with it's open level design and emphasise on exploration. Because this was my exposure to the game was introduced to the US soundtrack instead of the Japanese and European version and used to listen to its tracks via a portable CD player using the game's CD, that said I definitely appreciate both versions. Most recently I have replayed the game via the Sonic Orgins collection and the Miracle Edition on PC and can still hold it in high regard. Obviously this video is based on tbe classic Sonic vs Metal Sonic race at Stardust Speedway and the anime clip from the games credits and I think it is a good representation of the race. I was never happy with my first attempt at this video so tried it again with much better results. Perhaps on day I will redo it again using sound effect like in my later videos! Thanks again for everyone's support with your likes and comments and please check out my other videos! #SonicTheHedgehog #SonictheHedgehog #Sega #MetalSonic #LEGO
