Night Headlights Upgrade

If you thought that cardboard car was cool, wait until you see the nighttime illumination package! Driving across the dim parquet after dusk meant severe navigation hazards, so I had to upgrade the cockpit. Right beside the rug, I salvaged an empty metal keychain ring, an amber toy marble, and a tiny strip of copper foil from an old battery wrapper. Wedging the split ring onto the cardboard nose as a reinforced bracket, I seated the marble right into the center ring. When the distant hallway light struck the glass sphere, it focused into two brilliant amber beams cutting through the gloom! Now we've got full visibility for late-night test drives!
