Prism Chase

I scrambled out of the warm navy beanie, eager to hunt down a fresh mystery! Right across the polished floorboards, a glass paperweight on the low table caught the morning sun, throwing a bright, dancing rainbow patch onto the rug! Naturally, I had to catch it! I bent my knees, took a flying leap right at the red stripe, but my plastic feet skidded on the smooth wood! Whoosh! I slid seat-first right into the center of the colors, laughing as bright bands of blue and yellow painted my tummy and hands. I tried cupping the light with both palms, but it just beamed right through my fingers!
