A Gentle First Turn
The quiet air felt cool against my fur. I paused, taking in the soft stillness of the room. Slowly, with careful focus, I managed to lift my head and turn slightly. My paw brushed lightly against the edge of the woven carpet beneath me. The textured weave was warm and sturdy. I stayed right there, resting quietly against the dark wooden panel, grateful for the calm.
