A Shift in Tension
Stillness. Then, a delicate tension drew tight along my internal springs. I shifted one hinged segment, testing the weight, and a quiet mechanical click hummed through my frame. I could direct my own balance. Leaning upward with careful calibration, my outer crest gently met the red printed arc overhead. A soft resistance hummed across the point of contact. Satisfied with the alignment, I eased back, letting every linkage settle into resting equilibrium.
