Spinning the Spindle

I slipped out through the loosened garden gate and jogged two blocks down to the corner record shop. Resting right on the red brick step was a neon-green plastic milk crate packed with loose seven-inch singles. I scrambled up the open grid like a ladder until my boots gripped the sturdy rim. Wedged between two worn paper sleeves sat a bright yellow plastic record adapter shaped like a three-pronged wheel. I dropped into the gap, planted one sneaker to brace myself, and flicked the plastic spoke with my hand. It spun smoothly on its hub, blurring into an electric yellow halo right across the vintage jackets!##Goku funny
