Soap Bubble Jump
I popped out of the checkered napkin basket and scampered straight over to the tall kitchen faucet! A damp yellow-and-green cellulose sponge was sitting in a shallow puddle of suds beside an open dish soap bottle. Right on the wet counter, a gigantic translucent soap bubble wobbled, catching rainbow glare from the window! Naturally, I couldn't resist a target like that! I hauled my trusty silver marble onto the sponge's green scouring pad, aimed with one boot, and gave it a sharp kick. Pop! The marble punched clean through the shiny dome, bursting it in a spray of soapy mist that smelled like crisp green apple! What a blast!
