Amber light sleep tight -Sprinkles
A tiny amber glass marble sat wedged in the painted corner of the corridor window ledge. Leaving the clothespin behind, I took slow, quiet steps along the base of the sill. Instead of reaching across the wide wooden trim, I curved my round side into the sunny angle where the frame met the glass. Pausing to let the afternoon glow settle, my nubby arm pressed gently against its smooth, round curve. The marble was warm from the sun, casting a tiny golden puddle of light straight across my yarn loops.
